The World Premiere of Finding The Line has just been announced and will take place on January 20th 2018 at The Maury Young Arts Centre in Whistler Blackcomb on International Women’s Ski and Snowboard Day.

The screening will be on of several events happening around Whistler in celebration of IWSSD including yoga hosted by Lululemon, an on-snow social session at Whistler Blackcomb Resort and two evening screenings of Finding The Line supported by Whistler Blackcomb, K2 Skis, Oyuki Apparel, Bollé Eyewear, Snowsbest.com and Icebreaker Merino.

Finding the Line explores fear, it’s paralyzing grip on humans and how it affects our decision-making. The Australian born and bred Segal Sisters use their skiing to understand fear and how it manifests in the two siblings’ lives.

A heartfelt journey on the knife’s edge of big mountains throughout Canada and France pushes them to their physical and emotional limits. Then the extreme skiing mecca of Alaska pushes them beyond those limits.

The sisters soon realize that the most important lessons lie within each others’ approach. Equipped with greater insight, they negotiate the fine balance between staying in their comfort zone and taking too much risk, learning that sometimes to move forward, you need to understand what is holding you back.

“We’re excited to see our 2 year project hit the big screen” said Anna Segal. “Whistler is my adopted home and is a pinnacle ski mountain for so many. It’s the perfect setting on the perfect day for the world launch of our film.”

Tickets are on sale now (CA$15) with two screenings, one for all ages (7pm) and one for 19+ (9pm). The film screens for an hour with a Q&A with Anna and Nat after the film.
